Every play in the game of volleyball is critical.

Whether it's serving, passing, setting, hitting, or blocking, players need to utilize these skills on every play to gain the edge on their opponents. Maximize your volleyball performance by participating in the Acceleration Minnesota Sports Training Program. These Programs were developed to help athletes improve their quickness, jumping ability, power, speed, agility, strength and confidence to improve their game. Volleyball athletes who participate in the Acceleration Minnesota Program train with the most advanced technology available today. These Programs are designed to improve all aspects in the game of volleyball including:

  • Speed and quickness
  • Strength and vertical jumping ability
  • Body coordination and balance for better control over ball position
  • Quick, explosive multi-directional movements
  • Stronger serves and kills

PROGRAM COMPONENTS
Generation II Super Treadmill: Research has shown that incline running on our unique, hydraulically controlled Super Treadmill provides 200-300% more recruitment of the muscles responsible for increasing and maintaining speed, than running on level ground at the same stride frequency. This specialized training is crucial for improving the overall speed, agility, and acceleration needed for general volleyball play.

Plyometrics: Plyometric training includes a variety of footwork drills and special exercises that enhance an athlete's performance and ability to stay balanced and change directions quickly and explosively for hitting, blocking, and proper positioning for passing and setting the ball.

Strength Training: Through the use of specially designed weight equipment and an individualized program, volleyball athletes can develop and increase their overall strength base.

Resistance Cord Training: Our patented SprintCord® and PowerCord® isolate specific muscles for improving explosive sportspecific movements like hitting, setting, passing, serving and blocking. This allows you to train at velocities used in actual game conditions. These patented training aids will help improve functional volleyball strength as well as teach and reinforce proper volleyball skills with light to moderate resistance.
