Feel the Need for Speed

Just two quick phrases summarize the goal of the Acceleration Program: Move faster – run longer! Runners will reach optimal speed by increasing the two components of speed: stride length and stride frequency. The Acceleration Running Program helps each athlete learn and maintain knee drive, proper pelvic and trunk position and optimal stride length.

Acceleration Sports Training Centers provides specific programs for a variety of track and field events. The distance running protocols were designed to precisely train endurance runners with Acceleration technology and to be as specific to race distance as possible. Athletes who use the patented resistance cord technology build powerful sportspecific motions such as sprinting, jumping and throwing.

Track & Field Program designed to improve:

Sprinting Biomechanics

Explosiveness and endurance

Maximum sprint speed

Body composition and enhanced self-esteem

Throwing velocities and distance

Jump height/distance

Overall strength associated with sprinting, running and field events

This is what Alberto Salazar, Nike Sports Marketing Consultant, former two-time Olympic Marathon runner and New York & Boston Marathon winner had to say about the Acceleration Running Program:
"What the Acceleration Programs will do is make sure that a person has adequately laid the proper building blocks for becoming as fast and explosive and having as much endurance as possible. The programs help to make sure people are performing correctly in terms of physiological attributes, and so regardless of what sport you're in, it's going to help you."
